Arugula Flower

Flowers so elegant you could wear them to a Black and White ball. Graceful black veins decorate creamy white petals against a background of burgundy. Every time I see the petals, I think of feathered wings.

Arugula flowers are more delicately flavored than their leaves (especially when the plant is in flowering stage) with a peppery-sweet spiciness. Unlike the leaves, arugula blossoms lend texture and dimension, and even stand up to heat.
