Cuban BASIL

A cultivar of Basil believed to have been formulated and bred in Cuba. The flavor is more showy than sweet basil, with a punch of heat and spice. and is hardy to temperature and handling like Thai basil, but more tender in mouthfeel. Leaves at any age have gently serrated edges and an elegant leanness. Stems can be green or dark purple depending on cultivar. In the height of season, pluches may be available by special request.
