Lemon Basil

A basil cultivar grown for its fresh, bright lemon aroma and citrusy flavor, widely used in Southeast Asia. The lemon smell is intoxicating within the first few days of picking, and the leaves are lightly folded about their center, narrow, soft, and with gentle ruffles and serrated edges. The aroma is delicate and fades quickly with heat.
