Chive Blossoms

Dense pom-poms of purple chive-flavored flowers spring forth in late Spring from the familiar herb plant. These flowers are small but richly flavored, as flavorful as the chives you already know, and can be used in cluster form or pulled apart into individual flowers. They impart gentle flavor when cooked and perform brilliantly under heat, especially when grilled, where regular chives would not.

By special request, crunchy, unopened chive blossoms buds can be ordered for pickling and other uses.
