DRAGON’s HEAD

Another beautiful member of the mint family, Dragon’s Head belongs to a family of colorful edible flowers (the 70 or so species collectively called dragonheads) largely native to Eurasia. Our dragonhead flowers vary from indigo to lilac and have a delicate anise hyssop character. The flowers are elongated and tubular with light green bracts at the base. These flowers offer a beautiful and unusual accent color and suit both savory and sweet dishes.
