Fennel flower

Bright, lemon-yellow flower clusters in an umbel formation. Taste is floral, sweet and fennel-like, starchy with pollen. Individual flowers are usually in varying stages of development. Young flowers have tightly curled petals and look like a tiny yellow donut, while mature flowers emit showy stamens like tiny fireworks. There is an inevitable natural variance in development of flower clusters so you can expect an assortment of developmental stages in your delivery. The visual effect is an elegant, lacy, floral fractal.
