Plum Crazy Oxalis

Not to be confused with clover, this refreshingly tart, tender leaf is one of Oregon’s edible native plants, found in great abundance in any local forest. Our Plum Crazy Oxalis cultivar features vivid coloration, ranging from a dark purple-green to a bright magenta, often on the same leaf in splotches like tiger spots. The backside of the leaf is a bit unpredictable: sometimes it mirrors the pattern on the front, and sometimes it is a single color: a rich, velvety, burgundy purple. Color expression varies with sun exposure, substrate, weather, plant age, leaf age, and leaf size and may shift many times throughout the season. Sizing can be customized, but please expect color variation in your order.
